Under the direction of the Supervisor II in the Diversity and Inclusion Office, the Analyst II performs complex activities related to violations of DIR's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Workplace Violence and Bullying Prevention Policies.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Analyst II EEO Investigator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment. The Analyst II will be responsible for conducting thorough and unbiased investigations into allegations of harassment and discrimination, workplace violence, and bullying. This role requires a combination of investigative expertise and strong interpersonal skills to gather evidence, analyze information, and make well-informed recommendations for corrective action. The Analyst II will develop and evaluate program policies and procedures and provide recommendations for reasonable and religious accommodation, and employee engagement.The Analyst II must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff at all levels both within and outside of DIR to complete work assignments. The Analyst II will utilize the Internet, email, desktop applications and presentation software to complete assignments.
The Analyst II must handle sensitive and confidential materials and matters in a professional manner and establish cooperative working relationships with others.
Preference will be given to persons with State Restriction of Appointments (SROA) or Surplus status. Applicants must attach a copy of their most recently dated letter that specifies their designation as either SROA or surplus candidate as proof.
Qualified candidates must have eligibility in State employment, be in a reachable rank on an employment list for this classification, be currently in this classification, or have transfer eligibility to this classification.
